SLC Management offers a mix of in-office and virtual work where our employees are empowered to do their best. Generally, employees are expected to work three or more days in-office each week with flexibility depending on their business, client and team needs.

Job Description:

What is in it for you:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Director to join the Sponsor Credit Solutions team within the Structured Credit vertical at SLC Management. This role involves originating, underwriting, executing, and monitoring private credit transactions, including NAV lending, lender finance, and other sponsor credit solutions. The successful candidate will also support business development and strategic initiatives as the platform grows.

What ou will do:

  • Originate and execute fund finance transactions with sponsors and intermediaries

  • Underwrite and manage private credit investments

  • Analyze fund-level and asset-level financials and legal documentation

  • Prepare and present investment memos to the investment committee

  • Monitor portfolio investments and ensure compliance

  • Develop internal underwriting frameworks and investment themes

  • Contribute to strategic growth, marketing, and thought leadership initiatives

What you will need to succeed:

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in: private credit investing, investment banking, management consulting (private equity due diligence or corporate finance), and/or equity research (financials, asset managers, or leveraged companies)

  • Deep understanding of private equity and private credit fund structures

  • Proven ability to lead complex deal processes

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong financial modeling and credit analysis capabilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to distill complex information into clear insights

  • High initiative, ownership, and entrepreneurial mindsetExperience negotiating directly with sponsors and legal counsel

Salary Range
