We are seeking experienced Human Resources (HR) Advisors who are currently employed by the Federal Public Service and are affected by the Workforce adjustment process. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that partners closely with management to provide strategic advice and guidance on a wide range of human resources matters.

Area of selection
Who can apply: Only Canadian citizens currently employed by the Federal Public Service within the National Capital Region (Ottawa/Gatineau and surrounding areas), who:
- Currently occupy a substantive PE 01, PE 02, PE 03 or PE 04 position or equivalent classification in separate agencies of Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act, and
- Are affected by the Workforce Adjustment process (Written proof will be required).
- For Stream 4 only: candidates who occupy a substantive AS 04, AS 05 or AS 06 position or equivalent classification in separate agencies of Schedule V of the Financial Administration Act may also apply.
Positions will be offered at level as follows:
- For all streams:
- Candidates substantively occupying PE 01 or equivalent positions will be considered for UNI 06 positions
- Candidates substantively occupying PE 02 or PE 03 or equivalent positions will be considered for UNI 07 positions
- Candidates substantively occupying PE 04 or equivalent positions will be considered for UNI 08 positions
- For Stream 4:
- Candidates substantively occupying AS 04 or equivalent positions will be considered for UNI 06 positions
- Candidates substantively occupying AS 05 or equivalent positions will be considered for UNI 07 positions
- Candidates substantively occupying AS 06 or equivalent positions will be considered for UNI 08 positions

Location
All jobs are in Ottawa, Ontario. CSE has two accessible facilities. Flexible work arrangements, including telework for a portion of the work week, may be possible.

Essential qualifications
In order to be considered, your cover letter must clearly explain how you meet the following education and experience requirements.
Education
You must have either one of the following:
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with *acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed. or
- An *acceptable combination of education (professional certification) in a field related to the position (as above), and relevant experience.
*Note: The educational program must be recognized in Canada, and you must be able to provide proof of education credentials. Students graduating within the next twelve months are eligible to apply.
Experience
- For all streams:
- Experience providing advice, guidance and recommendations to managers on a variety of HR issues within the applicable Stream.
- Experience preparing a variety of written material such as reports, briefing notes, formal correspondence, etc.
- For UNI 08 Positions (PE 04 and AS 06)
- All of the above plus:
- Experience providing advice and guidance on complex HR issues.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior employees or delivering training or presentations.
- Experience overseeing working groups or project teams.
